Rotten to the core

Brown Rot.  Nikon D7000

Although there are lots of apples on the tree this year, the brown rot seems to be much worse than usual.   There are lots of apples, even ones still on the tree, that have succumbed to the concentric circles of rot.

This collection could have made a crumble on their own if they had not rotted in situ.
