I am a great list writer as my memory is shot.   I do have a few issues to contend with however;

  1. Where I have put the list
  2. Reading what I wrote on the list given my poor handwriting.

It is the thought that counts however!

Be My Valentine

As I am allergic to roses, I have hunted around this year and surprised Jo with a vase of red tulips.

They look rather good on the mantelpiece above the fire.

Something to keep your small change in

Sporens.  Fuji F10

There are some fantastic shops here in Edinburgh; where else would you find a shop with a whole window dedicated to Sporens.

I have only worn a kilt in anger once, but the trusty Sporen is mighty useful to keep your small coins in; much better than putting it in a sock.

Everyday objects: Instant Coffee

Instant coffee is not the same as when a cup is cooked from fresh ground beans, but it has improved over the years.

The selection available in hotels seems to grow year on year too; a range of flavours almost to rival the array of tea bags.

Snow flakes in the light

It is snowing here tonight in Edinburgh.  It has settled a little on some of the cars, but I am sure it will soon melt.

It may be the only chance I get t see snow again this Winter by the look of it :(

I did like the way the snowflakes were lit up by the lights; you can even see the 100Hz flash of the lamp!

Wish List

Not being able to drink any more, the bottles on display are more of a wish list than a reality these days.

I used to be very partial to Pusser's Rum, but a tot of Knob Creek would be more just for fun :)

I am not the biggest fan of flying; hours of boredom and other peoples germs.

I did manage to capture a picture of the 1st stage compressor blades of the engine today though as I boarded the aircraft.
