View of Oyster Bay Tiffany Window. Canon S120 |
Given that New York is meant to be the city that does not sleep, it certainly does not wake up very early! It is between 10am and 11am when most shops and museums open, so plenty of time to walk the blocks and see some architecture.
We spent the rest of the morning in the Metropolitan museum; in particular looking at the Tiffany windows and other glass.
In the afternoon we went up to the top of the Rockefeller centre to get a view of the city; there is a fab view of the Empire state building!
