I find it interesting that manufacturers of speciality teas all seem to think that their product is so delicate and fragile that it may need a safety rope.
It is not as if the rope is intended to stop the bag falling into boiling water.
Personally, I have no problems with guiding a spoon under a tea bag to gather it when it is spent.
