We bimbled around Oslo today and headed to the outskirts to do the maritime side of Norway.
We started at the Thor Heyerdahl museum and saw his rafts; the RA II and the Kon-Tiki.
He must have been raving to try and cross oceans in them!
We then went next door to see the Fram; the strongest wooden hulled ship made and was designed to be frozen into pack-ice. It seems to have fared well after its visit to the Antarctic.
