Rosy Moon

Rose and Moon.  Nikon D7000
16th July 2014

Most of the pictures I seem to take are exposed with a wide aperture to both use as much of the available light as possible, as well as to create a narrow depth-of-field.

Today I thought I would go to the other extreme and try to get both close and far in focus with a small aperture.

The moon seemed like a good target that was 'far away'.  A rose briar formed a decent close target with a nice contrast between 'sharp' and 'round'.
